Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce the launch of our girl’s coding club on Kidznet. Our goal is to create a community of young coders and teach them the skills they need to succeed in the digital age.
In this club, we’ll learn about coding concepts, build coding projects, and explore different career paths in the tech industry.
Our club is open to girls and boys of all ages and skill levels, so whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coder, we welcome you to join us!
To get started, here are some resources that you can use to learn coding:
**Scratch**: A free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.
**Code.org**: A nonprofit organization that provides free coding lessons and resources for students and teachers.
**CodeGuppy**: A fun and interactive platform that teaches kids how to code using JavaScript.
As for most kids, scratch is the coding language that they find easy to start. So we’ll first kickstart with it. But eventually, we’ll move into advanced coding when our users improve.
RULES
Here, we don’t actually prefer strict rules, but a few to maintain this club clean and user-friendly.
- Consider each others’ privacy and safety.
- Communicate respectively.
- Use the Club’s comment section ONLY for general questions. Don’t post general questions on lesson posts, or your comment will go unnoticed.
- For other questions related to uploaded lessons or projects, use the comment section of THAT post.
We’ll post regular updates on our progress, coding challenges, and other fun activities. We encourage you to share your own coding projects and ask questions.
Let’s build a community of young coders together! If you’re interested in joining our club, please comment below or message us.
Also, if you are willing to curate the club, you can message me in the comment section (we’ll inform you more about it later).
We look forward to hearing from you!
