Carpet pythons are beautiful species.

Lifespan: Wild:15-20 years. Captivity: 30 years.

Where they live: Australia and captivity. In the wild and mostly where it is hot.

Coloration: Leaf-like pattern , or albino (white-yellow).

Why they have coloration: They have a leaf-like pattern to hide them from things that may eat them and their prey.

What they eat: Carpet pythons can eat anything from mice to goats!

Species: Snakes, and more specifically pythons.
