Hello everyone! This upcoming Tuesday is Election Day. So I thought I could tell you some cool president facts you probably didn’t know! Here we go!
1: Did you know that only 7 presidents were left-handed!?!

James A. Garfield,
Henry S. Truman,
Barack Obama,
Bill Clinton,
Gerald Ford, and a few others! Also, only 9% of the world population is left-handed!
2: Did you know that the Bush presidents have something going for them?
George W. Bush was actually the only president who was born in Connecticut!

George H.W. Bush, His father attended Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
The grandfather, Prescott Bush, ran for senator in Connecticut. And George W’s parents met in Greenwich, Connecticut.
3: Did you know that Presidents Adams and Jefferson were friends?
They also hold a very sad and happy story. Adams died on July 4, 1826, from Congestive Heart failure. Jefferson also died on the same exact day to lots of terrible things that would take too long to read. Which July 4 is Independence Day!
4: Jimmy Carter’s family owned a peanut farm.

The story goes that after Carter’s dad died, He gave up a military career and moved to Georgia, working on the peanut farm.
5: Donald Trump was the second president who wasn’t voted back-to-back.

The first was Grover Cleveland. Once in 1885, and again in 1893.
BONUS! Kamala Harris was almost the only female president.
In 2024, Harris went against Trump and failed, but would hold first female president.
