									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The word distribute means to spread out, right? So 5 x (5 + 6) is the same as distributing the 5 inside the paratheses, so you get 5&#215;5 + 5&#215;6 which are both the same answer (55). It only works with parentheses type equations.</p>
