Hey Semmalar, I just made a post on the six seasons we have in Bangladesh.

I liked this post as a whole. I wasn’t aware of this history before, as I live on the other side of the world. So that was cool to read.

I liked how Scandinavians got to the US by boats and trains. It sounds exciting and thrilling, like those stories you’d read on adventure books. Except this is not a story, but real :]

And I’m glad that guy from Minnesota had the idea to submit a holiday. Because of him October 9th is known as Scandinavian-american holiday, although Scandinavian heritage is lost in the US.

We have two eids in the islamic calendar per year. Eid al-fitr earlier in the year and eid al-adha later. We already celebrated Eid Al-adha in June this year. Next is Eid al-fitr in April 2024.
