If you like winter, this is the perfect post for you!
1) How Snow Really Works
When it hits below freezing (0°C or 32°F), that doesn’t mean it can snow. There must be Precipitation in the air.
If you don’t know, Precipitation is the scientific word for rain. So when there is precipitation, and it is cold enough, it will snow.

Snow doesn’t stay, as you know. Once it hits freezing, it will be too warm for the snow to remain, causing it to melt. There is no way to stop it unless you make it cold, which is, of course, scientifically impossible.
Snow will react to temperature. For example, when the temp is warm, you get that harder snow, or what you could call Snowman Snow.
If it is in the 30s, then you have a chance of this Snowman Snow. When it is cold, like the 20s or even teens (11-20), you will get more fluffy snow. This snow is unlikely to stick or last very long.
Once you build a layer of a snowman and put another layer on top, it will probably fall in your face.
2) How To Build A Good Snowman
To build a good Snowman, build three spheres (Which are those 3D Circles), then pile them and pack them in so that they don’t fall.

Once you get the body, use the top sphere for the head. It is better to use natural things, like what you find outside. Use rocks and pebbles as eyes and a mouth.
The classic is to use a carrot nose, but you can use lots of other stuff, like maybe a stick or a bigger rock. Add two sticks on the side of the second sphere for arms. Use more rocks and pebbles for buttons, and even put on a scarf if you want to!
3) Winter Sports
There are also things called Winter Sports. Winter Sports are games and activities that you do in the winter. Let me know if you want a separate post about them.

These sports include the more traditional things like building a snowman, going sledding, or having a snowball fight. Others are more sports like skiing, snowshoeing, bobsled, or ice hockey.
Let me know for part 2! I will be happy to make one!
